PCS is a non-profit counseling agency in Manchester, New Hampshire with satellite offices in Bedford, Portsmouth and Nashua, N.H. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

This position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, consumers, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support clinical staff and billing operations, and the operation and presentation of a professional office.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Performs duties of facilities and supplies manager:
    • Ensures that office supplies are appropriately stocked at all times. This entails management of supplies, ordering and distribution of supplies, and monitoring the cost-effectiveness of supply resources.
    • Acts as liaison with Brookside Church regarding facility needs.
    • Ensures that all front office equipment is functional at all times.
    • Ensures that agency forms are well-stocked and up-to date
    • Develops electronic versions of forms
  2. Performs Records Management duties:
    • Maintains an organized list of records
    • Closes records in a timely manner
    • Manages record filing
    • Destroys old records according to agency and regulatory guidelines
  3. Assists Administrative/Financial Coordinator with billing functions:
    • Takes client co-pays and gives receipt for co-pays
    • Enters billing data in computer, with 100% accuracy day after service
    • Gives clients billing statements when requested
  4. Performs clerical tasks for management and clinical staff:
    • Prepares letters and documents.
    • Types reports.
    • Makes copies

COORDINATOR OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE

The Coordinator of Administration and Finance oversees the financial management of the agency and manages the administrative assistant(s). This position also develops monthly and yearly reports as needed by PCS. The position requires 32 hours/week.

This position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of all office functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable functions; as well as payroll and all related functions. The Director of Administrative and Financial Services is also responsible for the supervision of the Administrative Assistant.

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME LICENSED CLINICIAN

We are seeking to hire a part-time or a full-time LICSW and/or LCMHC clinician with preferably five-years experience to join our dynamic team of psychotherapy professionals. With multiple clinicians and areas of expertise, we are able to offer comprehensive, specialized services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

As a psychotherapist at PCS you will need to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care, treatment and services for the behavioral health needs of our clients in the areas of adolescents, couples, families, or mature adults
  • Collaborate with colleagues regarding individual client progress/overall treatment
  • Demonstrate the skills, knowledge and abilities in areas of regulatory compliance and adherence to professional standards
  • Responsible for thorough and accurate completion of all clinical documentation within required timeframes/deadlines to include but not limited to: progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, summaries, etc.
