MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Samaritan Institute based in Denver, Colorado recently named PCS Executive Director, David B. Reynolds, D.Min., LPP to the Leadership Team of the Clergy and Congregation Care (CCC). PCS is accredited by the Samaritan Institute, which is a major accomplishment for PCS. Through their affiliation, PCS is part of an international network of 89 Samaritan Centers across the world. Since 2006, PCS has been involved in the Institute's CCC program. CCC is mission-based and the goal is for clergy, congregations, judicatories, and seminaries to have the resources they need to bring about effective and transformative ministries. In addition to his existing duties of providing training and consultation support, in his new role as Committee Chair for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, David will be responsible in organizing and managing all the CCC representatives in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

"We look forward to Dr. David Reynolds joining the Leadership Team of the Clergy and Congregation Care (CCC) Project of the Samaritan Institute, a national behavioral healthcare ministry that provides resources for religious communities and their leaders," said Robert Johnson, President, The Samaritan Institute. "The CCC Project is funded by the Lilly Endowment of Indianapolis, IN. The Samaritan Institute accredits counseling centers across the United States, including PCS. Dr. Reynolds and PCS sponsor leadership consultation groups for clergy throughout New Hampshire and provide consultation for congregations. We are pleased to have David lead our Northeast and Mid-Atlantic representatives. His passion for this work is refreshing and we look forward to his leadership."

"I'm looking forward to enhancing my role within the CCC," said Dr. David Reynolds. "I have been part of this program for a decade and believe our work which focuses on education, consultation, coaching, assessment and spiritual direction is so important to the local congregations. We understand the challenges and opportunities facing faith communities and their leaders and believe our work really provides the on-going support many congregations need and want."
