MANCHESTER, N.H. – More than 200 people attended Pastoral Counseling Services (PCS) 21st Annual Good Samaritan Awards Dinner held this week at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, N.H. Over the past two decades, PCS has honored more than 110 individuals who have gone above and beyond in their community. This year’s event honored five individuals who were all nominated by their peers for the distinguished recognition of a Good Samaritan.
“The Good Samaritan Awards are an annual tradition to honor individuals who pursue extraordinary measures to strengthen communities and improve life in New Hampshire,” said Dr. David Reynolds, PCS Executive Director. “We were honored to celebrate this year’s honorees. Each of the individuals were chosen by their peers for their extraordinary community service. We are also pleased to recognize a husband and wife duo once again this year.”
2016 Good Samaritan Honorees Include:
Alex Walker, Catholic Medical Center
Mary Constance, Camp Allen & Moore Center Services
Michael L’Ecuyer, Bellwether Community Credit Union
Susan & Patrick McKeown, Substance Misuse Family Support Group Facilitators
Former Good Samaritan Honoree, John Clayton was this year’s award dinner Master of Ceremonies. John was recognized in 1996 by PCS for his work in the Media & Arts category.
